I knitted a sweater using size 8 needles with swtc soysilk. Following the instructions on the yarn band to block the finished sweater, all the stitches elongated and the sweater became way out of proportion. I could place my hand inside the sweater and not see my hand before blocking. After blocking, my hand was visibile through both layers of the sweater. I loved the soysilk until the blocking process and am now very disappointed! I feel the project is a total loss. Any suggestions?
