Time to spin...again
Easter Sunday brought me a few hours of time to spin again. It was such a zen time! I grabbed a hank of Karaoke Roving in Rainbow that had been sitting patiently by my wheel for months and worked it into this magical melody of color. I was just having a blast watching the color explode into a bright and playful yarn. The roving spins so easily that I relaxed and just let the time go by.
We also sheered our goats this weekend. I have 6 more luscious fleeces waiting for love. 2 are kid fleeces and I so enjoy those! My daughters were each given a bottle fed lamb for easter from a friend. These adorable little suffolk crosses wont be much for spinning fiber but I must admit - are almost contagious little pals. The sheep are no where as playful as my goofy goats, but they are super friendly. Its time for a moratorium on pets at my house!
These fibers are not only colorful and attractive, they are soooo soft. Can hardly wait to use them. Robin
